Because people focus most of their time and energy into how their website will look and feel, and not nearly enough into content and growing it.
In order to turn your website into a sales machine, you have to invest in professional design, high quality content and SEO.

How I Work
You may be wondering, what happens when you start working with me?
I have a web design process that will keep your project on budget, on time and meets defined goals.
STEP 1: Strategy Call
The first thing we’ll do is schedule a strategy call. During this call we will:
- Learn more about your business, e.g. your story of how you started, what you do, your purpose and mission, who do you serve, pain points, solutions you provide, etc.
- Discuss your website, e.g. goals, purpose, your thoughts on your current website, future hopes for website, etc.
STEP 2: Paid Discovery
Second, once the strategy call is completed, I will complete a paid discovery, where I will:
- Research your company
- Research your market
- Conduct SEO research
- Conduct competitor research
- Plan Content & messaging strategy
- Create a website architecture (Sitemap)
- Put together a professional proposal with scope of work (SOW)
We will schedule a meeting to review the proposal together. A decision will be made on whether you want to move forward with the project or not.
If you decide that you want to move forward, then the following additional phases will begin:
STEP 3: Website Layout & User Experience
I will create low-fidelity wireframes for layout & user experience, plan narrative for each page, decide call-to-actions and conversions points. We’ll conduct a meeting to review and make any edits requested.
STEP 4: Content Strategy
This is where I will write content of what your website needs to say in order to convince and convert visitors. We will conduct a meeting to review the content and make any edits where needed.
STEP 5: Website Design
Here is where I will bring the site to life by incorporating your colors, branding, animations (if any) and finishing touches. We will conduct a meeting to review and make any edits requested.
STEP 6: Development
Now, that we have much of the foundational work completed, I can begin to build out the site from scratch, make sure it display properly on mobile devices, optimize for speed and SEO.
We’ll conduct a meeting to review everything so you can create a punchlist before launching the site live.
STEP 7: Traffic Generation & Optimization
Once your site is live, I’ll implement a digital marketing campaign (if you choose) to drive targeted traffic and then report to you the results each month.
Who in the World is Patrick?
I’m Patrick Whitson and I am a website designer and digital marketer for service-based businesses.
I combine the creativity of design and data based marketing to drive traffic to your website to drive leads and sales.
I’ve been married to my wife Patty (whom I’ve known since fourth grade) for thirty-seven years and have begotten two sons, and a daughter (12 years after our youngest son).
My two sons have provided, between them, five grand-children (two boys and three girls). Since the mid-80’s, I’ve been involved in the computer field in one fashion or another.
As a operations supervisor, help-desk support, networking, computer repair, application & database development, website design and data warehousing.
All of it I learned from the “school of hard knocks” or on the job training. It’s been a fun and exciting ride! With this experience, I’ve been helping local service-based businesses make their mark online and grow their businesses.
I’ve been doing this remotely from my home office since 2010. The commute is brutal, er… I mean great! I am a man who is learning to follow Yah (God), fear Him and obey His commandments.
Some of my interests are studying the Bible, history, reading, liberty, self-governance and privacy.
