Frequently Asked Questions

Being sure you find the right website designer for your small business project is important. You will want to learn about them, their process and how things work. I’ve attempted to accomplish that by answering questions frequently asked from business owners I’ve built websites for.

If you have a question that’s not answered, please send me an email and I’ll answer you asap.

Who is the one running this site?

The one running this site is I, Patrick. A freelance website designer who enjoys helping small & local businesses build websites that stand out and attract your ideal customers.

How do you prefer to be contacted?

I prefer email since it doesn’t interfere with my work in progress. Don’t worry, it won’t go into a black hole as I will reply to all emails within 48 hours. If you wish to call, please schedule in advance.

Which industries do you build websites for?

I don’t serve a specific niche or industry at this time. But, I have mainly worked with local service based businesses, such as, manufacturing, catering, vending, auto repair & towing, home services (roofing, insulation, siding, flooring, plumbing, HVAC, etc.) and ecommerce brands who sell unique products related to fishing, health, organic, antiques, tools, etc. If you are not sure if your niche or industry would interest me, schedule a call and we can see if we are a good fit.

How much does a website cost?

Your website is an investment, not a cost, as it should become your 24/7 salesman for your business. Without knowing the specifics of your project I cannot list a specific investment amount, but the range can be anywhere from less than $5k and up. To get a more accurate estimate, fill out my project inquiry form.

Do you offer a refund for project deposits?

I have a no refunds policy on deposits. Deposits allow me to block out time on my calendar to properly focus on your website project and seals a commitment on both parties involved.

Are you available to start my project now?

Most unlikely. My availability is based on the number of projects I’m working on and I don’t like to overbook. Feel free to contact me about my availability for your project.

How do you decide whom is a good fit to work with?

The first step in deciding if you are a good fit is to fill out my project inquiry form. This prevents a lot of back and forth through email, keeps everything organized and shows me that you are serious about having a conversation about your project.

Once I receive your completed form, and review it, I’ll determine if your project is a good fit. If it is, I’ll set up a meeting where both of us can get a feel for each other and confirm we will work well together. Of course, we will discuss your project scope, purpose, target audience, timeline and deliverables.

How long will it take to build my website?

The timeframe to build or redesign a website will vary based on the factors of your project, such as, complexity, content creation, delivery of assets needed, if it’s an ecommerce store, etc. A broad general range would be from 2 weeks to several months.

If you are selected as a good fit to work with (decided once you fill out my project inquiry form) than I can give you a more concrete time.
